BETTER TOGETHER!

TGIF!!!

Thank God it's Friday!!! Thank God I'm Fabulous!!!... I haven't figured out which one I prefer .

I kinda think its the latter than the former...

Hey Gorgeous! Yes you...I'm talking to you.

It is another Fabulous Friday and I trust it has been an amazing week so far.

For me, it has... although right now, i'm rather pensive. There's something I've been mulling around in my mind for quite a while now and a recent event sort of exacerbated it.

I'll try and make this as brief and as straight to the point as I can.

A lot of people today, particularly Believers, are taking away the value encapsulated in Marriage by gradually placing less premium on it. They say that not everyone was created for Marriage... says who? If that was part of God's original plan, some people created for Marriage and others not created , God would have been kind enough to mention it from the very beginning as he joined Adam and Eve.  Paul only ADVICES for the unmarried to stay single because of the "distractions" that come with Marriage due to our degenerating world. No one was gifted with the "gift of celibacy"... no one! Men have only chosen to be celibate in accordance with their own convictions, being fully sold out to taking care of the things of God, just like Paul. However, it doesn't mean that one is incapable of taking care of the things of God if one is married.

Believers now say as an excuse not to face the hurt and disappointment of delay in Marriage that you don't need Marriage to fulfil your purpose... but these same people believe that "a bad Marriage" can derail and destroy a destiny. Oh dear!!! A typical example that comes to mind is Whitney Houston and the tragic repercussion of her life that somewhat resulted in the death of her only daughter, Bobbi Kristina. Yes, we have been corrected that it was her brother who first introduced her to the deadly habit that stole her career, brilliance and ultimately, her purpose... but she did admit in a brutally honest interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2009 that she got addicted to crack after marrying her husband because he encouraged the habit.

It was rumoured that she and her husband were said to have blown 100 million dollars in feeding their habit. They got wasted in front of their daughter daily in the back seat of their limo, engaged in wild threesomes, and even set fire to the car because they had turned the back of the limo into a crack lab. The astonishing depths to which the superstar plummeted was shocking and heart wrenching... but could have been avoided.

If a "bad Marriage" can destroy, doesn't that mean that a "good Marriage"... Marriage itself, without even adding an adjective to qualify it, according to the original intent of God, can and will help you fulfil purpose and make you become all God created you to be?

Hmmm... whatever we can to ease the pain and make it easier to deal with, right?

Marriage was God's original and intentional plan to spread His Kingdom across the earth. Education, Church, etc, only came as a plan B after the fall of man.

WHATEVER YOU DO BEFORE MARRIAGE IS WORK/CAREER... WHATEVER YOU DO AFTER MARRIAGE IS PURPOSE!

Ignore those people who say Marriage is not the be all and do all.

MARRIAGE IS THE BE ALL AND DO ALL!

MARRIAGE IS THE SHIZ-NIZ!!

MARRIAGE IS THE REAL-ISH!!!

It's our concept, ideology and understanding of it that is warped. Be balanced in your understanding of it.

Marry good and you're set up for life...Marry bad and you're doomed for life.

LIFE WON'T END BECAUSE YOU DESIRE A SPOUSE... BUT LIFE SHOULD IMPROVE BECAUSE YOU HAVE A SPOUSE!!!
