MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY!!!

I just wanna share a lil' something with you...excerpts from a conversation i had with a friend a few nights ago...interesting stuff, i tell you.

She was telling me about a classmate of ours from University whom she recently reconnected with on Facebook. Back then in school, she was this really pretty, really tall girl that got married and started having kids in our first year or so.

Thank God it's Friday!!! Thank God I'm Fabulous!!!... I haven't figured out which one I prefer .

I kinda think its the latter than the former...

It is another Fabulous Friday and I trust it has been an amazing week so far.

For me, it has... although right now, i'm rather pensive. There's something I've been mulling around in my mind for quite a while now and a recent event sort of exacerbated it.

I'll try and make this as brief and as straight to the point as I can.

Precious Blog-lings!!!

Its been such a long time...and I sincerely apologize. 
I have certainly missed y'all and I hope I was missed likewise.

It has been an incredibly busy 1+ year and a lot has been going on. One of the things I have been "busy" doing is chopping off my entire head of hair and regrowing it. Now, this wouldn't be the first time i'd be doing the "Big Chop". I've always been very adventurous with my hair... dyed it all colours of the rainbow and cut/styled it on all kinds of length and texture.

However, this particular chop was for a particular reason (ok...I would be honest, I was kinda bored) but I cut it all off because my temple hair sorta looked like it was receding and I had to find a way to regrow it. Hence, the "Big Chop"!

I wish i could stop apologizing for the long stretches of silence....please forgive me!I promise to be more consistent...pinkie swear, but hey...i'm here and that's all that matters,right? RIIIGGGHHHTTTTT!!!! so, i've got a really interesting topic here and it's the first time this blog would dip into the choppy and figuratively shark-infested waters of love but i'm quite excited about this so...suit up and let's go for a swim!

Aaah! Love's a many splendid things...can't deny the joy it brings...but hey,what's love without a lil' drama and some complications to boot,huh?

So, i've been meditating a lot lately on the concept of "settling" and it started when a very dear friend of mine was going to date this guy who i think is absolutely wonderful...but maybe not her kind of wonderful. 

BLOODY HELL.....LAGOS!!!

It's another FABULOUS FABULOUS Friday and I'm soooo excited to document this blog post...yes,I know it's been radio silent in this building for a while now but a lot's been going on and far be it that I should bore you with all the details. Anyways,I'm so excited to be here. 
It sure feels good to be alive,innit? I'm particularly more excited about what I'm sharing with you because it's the story of you and I... Yezzir! Yes,YOU and I!!!


So,I traveled to Lagos (one of the many things that's been going on)on a family visit...and Boy, Was it a heck of an experience!!!
 At first when I arrived,I was so excited! It had been a while since I was last in the "City of Excellence".

Thank God it's Fridaaaaay!!!!... YIPPPEEEE!!!!! 

Of course, i'm joking...i'm EXCITEEEED!!!!

 

       I'ts been an awesome week and i've sure got loads to tell you but first, let me start by saying i missed talking to you. It's been a heck of a long time...my sincere apologies. 

Yesterday marked the National Thanksgiving Celebration in America  and i couldn't help but think about Gratitude....I sure have a lot to be grateful for and i know you do too...in fact, if you can read this blog post,then you do have a lot to be thankful for. 

First, you are alive, second you've got eyes to see, third, you are literate and most importantly, you've got access to internet and technology. Honey, better start celebrating!
